Two openvpn problems with luci-app-openvpn_0.10+svn7859-1

From the services tab click 'save' or 'save and apply'.
Whatever template is in the drop down box is added to the list of configured instances.

When editing an instance, click 'switch to advanced configuration'.
Click the 'VPN' tab -- You can see a list of options build and then clear, leaving only the client checkbox.

I really need those options under the VPN tab.

package is luci-app-openvpn_0.10+svn7859-1_brcm-2.4.ipk
OS is Backfire 10.03.1 RC6.

I need a number of those options to get OpenVPN working.

Works like a charm.

A note to other newbies like myself...
I did the following to apply the patch to my BuildRoot?:

cd build_dir/target-mipsel_uClibc-0.9.30.1/luci-0.10.0
patch -p0 < /tmp/luci-openvpn-20120124-depends.patch

I tested functionality by selecting "configure client mode" from the basic screen, as well as under the VPN tab in advanced.

I thought I would give a bit more detail about the other issue.

From the ‘Services’ tab, if I click Save( & Apply) it will add the template listed in the recipe drop down list as a new instance, and then take me to the basic configuration for the new instance.

It is as though I clicked the add button.

I click the Overview link and I have a new instance from the recipe drop down list

If I delete the new instance by clicking on the red x, I’m taken to the basic configuration screen for the instance I was deleting and there are no options…

I click the Overview link and the instance I deleted is for fact gone.
Now there is “Unsaved Changes: 21”.

If were to click one of the Save buttons, I would start the whole process over again…
I have to edit one of the OpenVPN instances and then click save to clear the Unsaved changes.

Possible solution.
In the Basic and Advanced edit screens, there is a ‘-- Additional Field -–‘ , which turns out to be a ‘DummyValue?’ that does not add anything when I would click ‘Save( & Apply)’.
Maybe the drop down box in the Overview could have a DummyValue? labeled ‘-—Choose A Template—-‘ ?

The action of the delete button, the red x, needs to return to the overview screen when clicked.
